FAQ

Common questions

Do I need a consortium as an owner-operator?

Yes. CDL drivers have to be in a random testing pool. Owner-operators can't run a pool of one, so you join a consortium. That's us.

Where do my drivers test?

Local to Denver? Walk into the clinic in Henderson, CO. Anywhere else? Partner collection sites near each driver.

What about pre-employment drug tests?

Required before a new driver joins the pool. We'll set it up after you sign up.

What about the FMCSA Clearinghouse?

You and your drivers register at clearinghouse.fmcsa.dot.gov. Pick us as your C/TPA so we run the annual queries for you.

Can I add or remove drivers later?

Yes. Email shana@cdlchiro.com. New drivers need a pre-employment test first.

What if a driver tests positive?

The driver is referred to a Substance Abuse Professional. We report the result to the Clearinghouse. Federal rules handle the rest.

Do you do DOT physicals too?

Yes. That's our walk-in clinic in Henderson, CO. See the clinic site for hours.

Ready to get compliant?

Five minutes. You'll leave with a signed packet and a call booked.
